Improve PTE Repeat Sentence Score In 1 Minute

The most efficient way to get better at listening is to practice on a daily basis.

From now on, you should focus on listening to podcasts on topics you like, as well as Youtube channels in English, and also watching movies and the news in English.

The key to improving is repetition. It takes a certain amount of time for the brain to distinguish words in a sentence, therefore you need to become comfortable with understanding in order to remember the main keywords in the sentence so that you can repeat it later.

Some tips that can help you to remember the sentence is to make a mental note of the way the speaker uses stress and intonation on the recording. These patterns help to convey the meaning.

Focus on the subject, verbs, and keywords to narrow down the sentence.

You may want to write these down as the recorder plays, although you may struggle to remember them as your attention is on your writing.

If you can, listen and imagine the situation of the recording, which might make it easier to relax.
